OnlyFans agency fees: compare the base, not just the percentage
An agency percentage is meaningful only when you know what it applies to and what work it covers. Compare the contractual base, additional charges and responsibilities before interpreting a commission as a saving you could keep.
Read the base before comparing rates
Check whether a quoted percentage applies to gross revenue or the amount after the platform deduction, and which revenue categories are included. Two contracts displaying the same percentage can produce different charges. Ask what is included, what costs extra and how termination works.
A published Analoxia offer documents a 50% commission after platform deductions. It is an example of that company’s offer, not a universal agency rate, a market average or evidence of typical creator results. Verify the actual contract you are considering.
This agency comparison uses a 20% platform deduction with a historical 2021 OnlyFans/Fenix reference. That historical evidence does not certify current account terms; check the relevant deductions and adjustments before assessing a real contract.
Work through the same revenue on both sides
Use an illustrative EUR example: 100 paid subscriptions at an actual average EUR20 produce EUR2,000 gross. The model’s 20% platform deduction is EUR400, leaving EUR1,600 before other costs. A 50% agency commission on that remaining amount is EUR800.
The creator is left with EUR800 in the agency example, compared with EUR1,600 before other costs when operating independently. The difference is an avoided agency commission of EUR800. It is not automatically profit or a net saving after your time, expenses and separately paid advisory.
| Illustrative monthly item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Gross subscriptions | EUR2,000 |
| Platform deduction, 20% | EUR400 |
| After platform | EUR1,600 |
| Example agency commission, 50% after platform | EUR800 |
| Creator after example commission | EUR800 |
Compare the work and contract as well as the arithmetic
List the tasks the agency would actually perform and the tasks that remain yours. Check approval rights, account recovery, access to content, reporting and responsibility for messages. A percentage alone does not describe the relationship.
Then estimate what independent operation requires from you. Production, promotion, service and administration still consume hours. If you buy specific services or advice, include those costs. Different arrangements may suit different circumstances; this comparison does not claim that every agency offers the same service or terms.
Use the annual figure carefully
Multiplying the EUR800 monthly avoided commission by 12 gives EUR9,600 only if the same month repeats unchanged. It does not predict a year of revenue or renewal activity. Changing the currency unit does not perform an exchange-rate conversion.
Use the arithmetic to identify questions, not to justify signing or ending a contract without reading it. Review extra fees, payment timing, notice periods and control at termination. Seek appropriate independent advice where a contractual question requires it.
Questions and answers
Do all agencies charge 50%?
No. The 50% figure is a documented commercial example, not a market average. The actual rate, base and included work depend on the offer and contract.
Is the avoided commission my final saving?
No. You still need to account for your own work, expenses and any paid advisory or services. The calculator compares commissions at equal revenue before those other items.
